Types of connections

Introduction to Mechanical Connections of Silice Ara Company

These clamps comply with the specifications mentioned in Publication 848 and Appendix 6 of Standard 2800. Among these specifications are the elastic (radical) anchors, suitable for connecting walls made of Sillex blocks to structural elements such as steel or concrete columns and intermediate anchors. They serve as an economical alternative to conventional anchors. Additionally, flat metal clamps (ruler type) are recognized as a suitable substitute for bedding rebar, with execution details provided in Guideline 819 of the Road, Housing, and Urban Development Research Center. The W-shaped clamp is used for connecting perpendicular walls. All these components must be made of stainless steel or galvanized iron to prevent corrosion when in contact with building materials.

Elastic (Radical) Anchors:

This component, as specified in Appendix 6 of Standard 2800, is suitable for connecting walls constructed from Sillex blocks to structural elements such as steel or concrete columns of the building frame or intermediate anchors. It is a highly economical option to replace conventional anchors.

Flat Metal Clamp (Ruler Type):

This metal component, as explained above, is a suitable replacement for bedding rebar. The detailed implementation method is outlined in Guideline 819 of the Road, Housing, and Urban Development Research Center.

W-Shaped Clamp:

This piece is appropriate for connecting two perpendicular walls. It should be noted that all mentioned components must be made of stainless steel or galvanized iron to avoid corrosion when in contact with building materials.

Applications

  • Connecting walls to concrete and steel structures

  • Reinforcing roof structures

  • Reducing project execution costs

  • Increasing durability and stability of structures

By using Silice Ara mechanical connections, in addition to improving construction quality, the efficiency, speed, and safety of projects are significantly enhanced.

Uses and Advantages of Mechanical Connections
