Blocks arranging: 1- Maximum length of walling shall not exceed 6 meters or 40 times thickness of the wall (whichever less); otherwise, executing vertical coil or wall post. 2- The height of the wall shall be maximum 3 meters and if the height exceeds this number, it will be necessary to execute horizontal coil or wall post. 3- The joint shall be developed in minimum 10mm distance in the connection point to the column and ceiling. In addition, per 6 meters length of the wall, minimum one joint must be added. Increase in the distance of the joint will be predicted by considering the designer’s experience and structure behavior. In addition, the joints shall be filled with soft materials. 4- Block connection in the joining place of the two walls in perpendicular walls as well as the connection point to structure elements shall be done by mechanical fastener for the stability of the wall and preventing the mid-frame behavior. 5- The openings and lintels shall be directly anchored to the structure to prevent imposing the weight of opening and lintels to blocks. 6- The blocks overlaps shall be observed minimum one third of block length. 7- Balancing each row of the block during wall construction should be carefully done from the first row to the last row. 8- In the meantime, to cut the blocks, use wood cut saw or suitable cutting equipment and do not use ax working or hammering on blocks.
Block adhesive 1- To prepare the adhesive, it is recommended to use around 30 percent weight percent water consumption (drinking water); the final combination plan will be determined by the foreman with respect to the environment temperature and relative humidity; so, the adhesive will have suitable concentration, as it would not be diluted like mortar and does not leak after execution (the amount of adhesive is 20 to 25 kilogram per cubic meter). 2- Moisturizing the block surface before coating in the corers which are covered by the adhesive or any coating (cement or plaster base) is necessary. 3- The connection place of the block with other blocks shall be soaked with sufficient amount of adhesive (around 3mm) by 4- The adhesive content bags should be stored and used in a place, away from any moisture. 5- The duration of using the adhesive after mixing it with water or prepared powder is 2 hours.
Profile and connection sheet 1- To connect the wall to the structure (metal-concrete), the designed profiles (prepared or designed by project designer) should be used. 2- To engage the sheet with the blocks, steel nails in suitable length must be used. 3- The length of the profiles is 210 centimeters and they are designed in rail form. 4- The connection sheet is like knife handle with holes and is designed to attach the wall to profile. Mechanical bolt [fastener] 1- The pre-fabricated mechanical bolts of Siliceara are designed to connect the wall to the structure (metal- concrete) and ceiling. The pictures are shown for using them. 2- To engage the mechanical fastener with blocks, steel nails in suitable length should be used. 3- This fastener is recommended for connection of a new wall with a wall of different texture or similar type.
Lintel 1- The lintels manufactured by Siliceara are produced in 120 and 180 centimeters length and are usable in 10, 15 and 20 centimeter thicknesses. 2- This product is recommended on top of all openings to prevent the pressure of blocks weights on opening frames. Useful and applicable tools 1- To provide the minimum 2 mm and maximum 3mm thick adhesive between blocks, the spatula. 2- Use wood cut saw or milling device (with diamond blade) for sawing. 3- Due to the passage of electrical and mechanical installations through the pipes, the grooves should be made only by using electrical or manual grooving device and in no circumstances ax must be used. In addition, the depth of the grooves should not exceed 1/3rd of wall thickness.
Tile and ceramic adhesive 1- To fix tile or ceramic the floor and wall, it is recommended to use four of our products in C1, C1T#, C2 and C2TE grades; as they have superior properties and characteristics in terms of resistance, adhesion and better quality than other materials available in the market. 2- The tile and ceramic adhesive mixing plan with the water is printed on the bag (25 kilogram ready to use powder needs about 6 to 7 liter water). 3- The thickness for spreading tile and ceramic adhesive should be in 2mm to 6mm (as per its application). These products are suitable for fixing any types of tiles and ceramic (porcelain, marble, glass….) to the entire surfaces which have been already defined, especially autoclaved light concrete blocks. 4- The duration of using the adhesive after mixing it with water or instant powder is 2 hours.
